The graphics however, have to be the best. The story line is good enough and easy to understand. There are a few new characters in this game and they slip in fine with the older characters. Though you start off with two cars, you can earn more cars as you progress through the game and change the style and colour of your cars. Sometimes it's a race to gain the highest amount of points before time runs out or shoot you're opponents before they shot you and much, much more. But it's not all straight forward racing.
You still have fun shooting you're enemies and earning precursor orbs but this time you do this while driving around trying to win first place. Jak hits the streets yet again with his furry friend Daxter but this time with a twist.
